A Little note from Nana

Hi everyone, welcome to Maddie & Nana's Place. This blog is for Maddie. She has been scrapbooking for almost a year. She wanted her own blog so that she could enter challenges just like her Nana. She is learning to do everything crafty by herself. Maddie has her own ideas, her own "stuff" including my old cuttlebug. My daughter has been scrapbooking for years and now her oldest loves it too. She wants to do her own computer input so please be patient. Nana spoils her and she has been playing on our PC for a while. She loves YouTube and only needs a little help with spelling. At least she will allow me to help, even if it's only to tell her how to do it. She always wants to do it herself. She mastered my ATG gun in no time..lol We hope to have fun together.

Friends Forever Birthday Card/DT Kona Kid Krafter's "Summer Challenge"

I made this card for my friend Hailey.  Her room is purple and blue so I made this card purple and blue.  These pictures are of us, the Disneyland picture is when we were little.  The camping one is from last summer.  Her birthday is tomorrow and I am going to it.  I hope she will like it and we are going to camp in her backyard.

Chick Magnet Fathers Day Card

I made this cute moose Father's Day card for my dad.  My dad likes black and I really liked the digi I picked from Prairie Fairy Designs.  This is my 3rd card as a DT for Fairy Fun Fridays , the  challenge this week is Father's Day.  I used my nanas old SU and Martha Stewart markers to color my image.  I like her copics better but I don't always get to use them.  I like makers better than colored pencils and copic best of all!  Maybe I will get some of my own hehehe.  I'm pretty sure my dad will love it.  I am going to give the onther one I made to my poppa.

Nana's note:  Maddie is a copics  user in training.  I need to just get her some of her own since sharing my copics is a tough thing to do!   Heck I'm just learning to use them myself...LOL  We entered her card into the  following challenges:

Maddie used supplies from my stash to make her card, only the image is new.  She wanted to keep this card very simple.  Here's what she used to create her card:
  • Chick Magnet Digi from Prairie Fairy Designs
  • SU Fathers Day Stamp
  • Black & white cardstock
  • Martha Stewart, SU markers and watercolor pencils
  • Inc
  • Funky scissors
  • 3 green buttons
