A Little note from Nana

Hi everyone, welcome to Maddie & Nana's Place. This blog is for Maddie. She has been scrapbooking for almost a year. She wanted her own blog so that she could enter challenges just like her Nana. She is learning to do everything crafty by herself. Maddie has her own ideas, her own "stuff" including my old cuttlebug. My daughter has been scrapbooking for years and now her oldest loves it too. She wants to do her own computer input so please be patient. Nana spoils her and she has been playing on our PC for a while. She loves YouTube and only needs a little help with spelling. At least she will allow me to help, even if it's only to tell her how to do it. She always wants to do it herself. She mastered my ATG gun in no time..lol We hope to have fun together.

Spider Happy Halloween DT Card

Nana's Note:  This is Maddie's DT card for Kona Kid Krafter's Halloween or Harvest Challenge that starts on October 1st.  Our sponsor  for this challenge is Peachy Keen Stamps.  Maddie had fun with this cute little spider.  We are both learning to blend with our markers!  Yes, she got to use my copics...I did survive.  It's more than making sure she clicks them shut.  OMgosh I watched her the whole time she was trying to blend!  A real learning experience for the both of us!  I think she did a fantastic job too.

If you like yummy stamps you will love Peachy Keen Stamps, don't miss out on the new releases!

Happy Birthday Lexi

I made this card for my friend Lexi.  I am going to go to her birthday party soon.  The best part about going to her birthday is being with my friends

I used a mom's cupcake digi and paper from my nanas stash.  I wanted to make an easel card.  I made my own flowers.  and added stickles to make it sparkle.  I used the cuttlebug to emboss.  And my nanas nesties.  thanks  for looking maddie.
