Maddie's moving on.....

Hi Everyone,

Maddie has decided that she can't keep up with all her DT obligations. She was truly hoping she would be able to continue being a Jr. Fairy Princess.

School, homework and joining the Girl Scouts is taking all of her free time. She is finding out that Scouting takes some work too...lol So far we will be off doing stuff with the scouts every weekend...yikes camping this weekend!

She will still be sharing her creations on her blog on occasion I am sure. We want to thank everyone, especially Roberta for allowing her to be part of the team. You have all been so very kind and wonderful. Maddie has enjoyed every minute.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts, we will miss visiting the Fairy Meadow and all the wonderful Fairies! See you all in blogland.

Hi Everyone!

Maddie made this cute little card for her Dad or Uncle, they both love to go fishing! She used "Fisherman Lewis" from Prairy Fairy Designs.

Maddie's DT project is a wonderful mid week reminder for Fairy Fun Fridays challenge. The theme is "Snips & Snails & Puppy Dog Tails". Pretty cute right...lol Just means to create something masculine. You have a week left so go ahead and join in the fun!

Since Maddie has been a little overwhelmed with the first few weeks of school she opted to use the already colored version of Fisherman Lewis. Having the option of colored digis is great for both digital scrapbooking and out of time or lazy paper crafter...lol

She kept her card pretty simple, just the way she likes to do them. I am trying to get her to use my nesties and other punches a little bit more. Almost everything she used is from my stash.... I think he turned out pretty cute.

Hi Everyone,

Just to let you all know that Maddie is now a Girl Scout! Yippee lots of fun and lots of work...lol This means she will be taking a break/or stepping down from some of her DT work. She has thought long and hard and has decided she will be concentrating on her Girl Scout activities.

We all know what that means....yikes Nana's all in too...lol I am sure Maddie will still be making cards and such, right now she is working on a book of drawings. She tells me she's not ready to share those yet....of course she still wants to be a Fairy Princess...lol

I am sure we will be posting goodies in the future...lol Oops, one more thing...her arm is fully healed and no one can tell it was ever broken.

FFF Challenge #53 " More than One Fold"

Nana's Note: Hi everybody, just a little note to let you know that little Maddie just turned 10 on May 3, OMGosh the little one is in double digits..yikes This Nana doesn't feel old enough to have a tween or pre-tween granddaughter...lol

Sad news is she broke her arm just a few days later...I know poor thing. Anyway she won't be doing any crafting for about 2 months. Doc says she should be back to normal by then. Who knows summer will be here and she will be outside doing what all kids do. Having fun in the sun!!!! At lease we hope so.

Maddie did her best with her DT project for Fairy Fun Friday's "More than One Fold". She kinda cheated a little, she used a colored digi (she thinks she cheated..lol) of course it's one of Roberta's from Prairie Fairy Designs so its gorgeous! Rain, Rain Go Away

Nana's Note: This is Maddies DT card for Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge #50, "Inspired by a Nursery Rhyme" Maddie had a hard time trying to figure out what she wanted to do. She settled on use Roberta's "Raindrops" digi from Prairie Fairy Designs.

Maddie used a combination of my Copic's and her Prisma Markers. She messed up on the face when she did the brows...lol Got to show her how to paper piece....yippee got to help... She added some dimension to the raincoat and boots by adding some rather large polka dots. She embossed the card base. I think she did a great job.

This is the freebie Bunny that Roberta created for everyone to use, isn't he a cutie. Maddie used a combination of my Copics, her watercolor pencils and Prisma Markers. Naturally Maddie was to busy to do any part of this post. We have not made any pages in a while. we are both a little rusty.

My Favorite Things DT Card Box

I made this box for me. This is what I did. I used a little bit of stickles, markers and colored pencils.

DinoMite DT Card

I made this card for my Mom. This is what i used some stickles, markers, colored pencils and 2 buttons.

I used a stamp that says DinoMite. I inked the sides of the paper the color was green.

Inside I put 2 pieces of paper and I used the cuttle bug.

Window Flower Card DT Card

Nanas Note: We have all been sick with the nasty bug going around. Maddie very much so, that's why she's not doing her own partial post. Hopefully we are all better by Saturday, we don't want to miss our next Crop!

Maddie made this cute little card at one of our Crops, it is also her DT card for Kona Kid Krafter's "Something New" Challenge. All of it was new to her..thanks to Stacia for supplying all the stuff. Ok the Markers and Colored pencils were Maddie's. We made several cards that day, all to showcase all the different types of flowers we learned to make. Isn't the Rose Maddie made just gorgeous... Baby Giraffe Bookmark Set DT Project

I made this Giraffe bookmark set for my favorite aunt. I used my markers. I punched flowers out I cut the flowers like hearts.

I used a little bling. I used new polkadot ribbon. I used brown all around the paper.

Nana's Note: Maddie is still doing some of her own posts! Yippee! Not only did she make this cute little set for her fav aunt..lol, it is also her DT project for Stitchy Bear Kids. The theme is "Anything New".

I made this card for my friend. We all love to sing. So I used these cute caroling snowman.

I used prismacolor markers and colered penclils.I used snowflakes,embossing and cuttlebug.

Nana's Note: Maddie made this card for her Aunt Mel. Not sure she really understands this sentiment. She decided on using this one since she thinks her auntie needs help. In her words " I know she will want me to babysit and help since she (auntie) is having her fourth child!" As we all know, Maddie makes all her own designs and she decides what and how she wants it. I am sure Mel will love it.

This is also her DT card for Kona Kid Krafter's. The challenge this time is "Sparkle", stop by and join in the fun. Who doesn't love sparkle. Surprisingly Maddie didn't use any of her stickles.... She told me that Lilith, the buttons and her flower bling are sparkly enough haha. I think she is starting to ration her stickles!

This is my dt card for one stitch at a time. The theme is spooky I'm not sure who I will give it to yet. I really like it so it might keep it.

I used some more of nanas stash. I put the pumkins in the wrong way when I used the cuttlebug. I like them anyways. I embossed a cricut ghost and the 3 pumpkins on the inside of my card too. I got to use nanas markers to color the pumkin's and spooky girl. I had lots of fun making this card. I can't wait to dress up and get some yummy candy! thanks for looking Maddie.

Happy Birthday Card for Oma

Note from Nana: Happy happy joy joy...we are all in full blown summer mode now! Maddie is still enjoying her summertime fun...boating..friends. How fun it is to be a kid! I can hardly believe school will start up again in less than a month Yikes! I guess she will be posting soon enough. A Nana's job is never done..lol

Maddie made this card for Oma, which means Grandma. Oma is what everyone calls my mother. So this Birthday card is for her Great Grandmother who will turn 95 years young. When my mother had me she was old enough to be my grandmother...Guess I was a real surprise.

Once again Maddie did the entire card by herself. I alway's give positive advise when she is done. Maddie will rarely change anything once it is adhered. She is learning all the time. She already knows a few golden rules, click my Copic's shut, clean the stamps right away and close the ink pads asap...hehehe. I am always astonished by her vision of what she wants her cards and lay outs to look like. Of course she wanted to use my Copic's...at least she asked this time! I am very proud of her. Maddie has a good eye for design and great potential. It's a little hard to truly just let her go. I had gotten used to making gentle suggestions, and helping just a tad..guess those day's are gone!

Nana's note: Maddie is way to busy being a social butterfly to do her own post! She is at an overnite so she doesn't have time to come to Nana's house...lol Maddie made this cute little desktop calendar box at our montly crop. Lorraine was kind enough to share this sweet project with us. Maddie used all the stash she had to offer. She kept the embellies to a minimum, just some bling and ribbon. She did not want to add a sentiment or stamp...go figure. I think she just had to go and check out all the other's progress and raid the chocolate cake! Birthday Card for Gracie

Nana's Note: Maddie is still in summer mode! She made this card for her sister's birthday and our Kona Kid Krafter's challenge. She worked on 1 layout for her scrapbook, her 5 progressive cards for our next crop and said I'm done Nana. That means I gotta do the whole post again...LOL That's ok it summer she has her mind on fun, fun and more fun. She still wants to do all the creating just not the posting. It must be too much like school work...Oh well .

Collin's Happy Birthday Card!

Nana's Note; This is the second card Maddie made last night. It will go to her BFF's little brother Collin. He is having a birthday this month too, he will be turning 4. Maddie created this entirely on her own. She had already been busted using my copic's earlier, so she had permission to use them even though I was in another room. We'll see how that went. As I said before, she told me she would be sure to "click them shut and that she would use a light touch....OMGosh that was really hard! She prefer's my Copic's to anything else. Happy Birthday Card for Uncle Dion

Nana's Note: Maddie is still in summer play mode. She is too busy playing with her friends to do any posts today...LOL Maddie made a couple of Birthdy cards last night. Needless to say, she got into my Copics without me...ugh. She told me she made sure they clicked shut. OMGoodness! I decided to trust her. If any of them dry up she will be giving me foot rubs for enternity...ROFL

Maddie made her 2 Birthday cards in record time. She did not even ask me for any suggestions...wah waah waaah! She only asked me if she could put Stickles on her card. I told her only if she uses her own. Everybody loves to use my stash, I draw the line on Stickles!

Friends Forever Birthday Card/DT Kona Kid Krafter's "Summer Challenge"

I made this card for my friend Hailey. Her room is purple and blue so I made this card purple and blue. These pictures are of us, the Disneyland picture is when we were little. The camping one is from last summer. Her birthday is tomorrow and I am going to it. I hope she will like it and we are going to camp in her backyard.

Nana's note: I guess Maddie is in Summer mode...LOL. She liked the paper bag card she made as a GDT for Fairy Fun Friday's and decided to make a similar one for her BFF Hailey's Birthday so she could add the pics to it. Chick Magnet Fathers Day Card

I made this cute moose Father's Day card for my dad. My dad likes black and I really liked the digi I picked from Prairie Fairy Designs. This is my 3rd card as a DT for Fairy Fun Fridays , the challenge this week is Father's Day. I used my nanas old SU and Martha Stewart markers to color my image. I like her copics better but I don't always get to use them. I like makers better than colored pencils and copic best of all! Maybe I will get some of my own hehehe. I'm pretty sure my dad will love it. I am going to give the onther one I made to my poppa.

I made this card for my very special best friend Hailey. We don't get to see each other everyday because we go to different schools. Our moms were friends when they were in school and they are still good friends now. We have lots of fun together.

Just Beggin Paper Bag Mini

Yippee, I am a Guest Junior Designer for Fairy Fun Friday's Challenge Blog for the month of June! I made this paper bag mini for me...hehehe. I got to pick all the Digi' Stamps for the months challenges. The challenge this week is to decorate a bag. My Nana makes lots of paper bag mini albums. So I made a mini, mini..it's just one bag. My Nana help's just a little, she gave me the idea for this project but I did all the work. This is the first time she let me use some of her markers. Not sure if i like them. My nana say's I just have to get used to them

I decided to keep this for myself. The inside tag has pictures of me and my dog Daisy. It's nice to have a Nana with so much stuff that she lets me use. I really like the way it looks, the Just Beggin dog is so cute. I love Daisy. Hope you like my paper bag.

Door Knob Decor

This is one of the things I made at the 2 day crop that I went to with my nana. Laura the owner of the place were we stayed taught me how to make this for my door. She helped me with it but I did most of it by myself. She has lots of cats and 2 dogs. I like her and her dogs a lot. I had fun and got to stay up real late. All the ladies were really nice. I had a good time. We went to the beach and I filled a bag with sand to take home hehehe. We saw a seal eating some fish. If my dad lets me i am going to put this on my door. I won some good stuff with the challenges! I will have even more fun when we go back in August, I will bring my dig to play with. There was no tv!

Nana's note: Maddie was busy all weekend learning this new technique. She made a few challenge cards, but gave them away before we left. So no pics or up loads of those. Maybe we will find them in her rolling cart. We entered this cute little creation into the following challenges:

I used 4 buttons and red paper. I made this card for my mom, she loves fairies. I used a Digi from stitchy bear stamps called the garden fairy. I colored it with watercolor pencils. I also used pop dots and stampin up thinking of you stamp. I smudged the edges with red ink. I hope she will like it.

4 Drawer Box

A note from Nana: Maddie went with me to a new group crop today. She made this beautiful Box. It was Gails turn to share a project with the group. It was a lot of fun. Gail did most of the hard work! She cut and scored most of the components ahead of time. All we had to do was pick our colors, embellies and such and put it all together. She even brought all of her die cuts. I must say I like the spellbinders nestibilities, especially since they can be used in our cuttlebugs...lol Needless to say Maddie was exhausted, we picked up her little sister Gracie to join in our crafting sleepover. They each made a lovely card. Maddie will be posting that one herself later. I just thought I would post this one for her as I am sure they will want to make something else after breakfast. (That's just a few hours away..yikes.) She did a great job for almost a 9 year old..lol. She is now part of 2 crop groups, amazing. I didn't do it card for my dad

I made this card for my dad. This is what i did. A Karens doodle I didn't do it stamp. 3 flower brads 3 rhinestones, yellow ribbon and a bow. Love you stamp, square punch, paper from Nanas stash. Blue, white and gold stickles. Sakura pens.Computer I didn't do it, watercolor pencils. I had lots of fun. I hope my dad likes it.

Get Well Card for DeeDee

I entered this into Aly's asc 13 sketch challenge . I colored in little helping hands Digi stamp made by Karens Doodles. I used Nanas scrap paper to make the card , my water color pencils. Pink ,blue and purple stickles. My Mom gave me the pink butterfly brad. Get well and I love you stamp's from Michaels. I also used a piece of hugs and kisses ribbon and a heart punch.

This card is going to go to Dee Dee, she has been sick . I want to give her this card to cheer her up.

Nana's note: Madison did everything all by herself, I only did the linking and uploaded the pics. Such a big girl!

My First Challenge

I used a I love you stamp and three buttons one piece of black ribbon and two pieces of different kinds of paper. I cut the I love you stamp out and I used the cuttle bug to make dots on the piece of green paper and I am going to give it to my aunt Noni. I used my Nana's ATG gun. I copied a sketch my Nana had. I put it all together by myself. I am waiting for my mermaid to come in my Nana's email.

I used inkadinkado blending chalks. pink, blue and dimond stickles Karens mermaid, shes so cute. I like kids challenge blogs. Entered into Karens Doodles Kids Challenge
